Stefan Brennwald of Park City was the 2022 SnowCup men’s overall winner.

In the first slalom of the day Jeremy Mathers of U. of U finished first, Park City’sTay Polster was second and Rowmark’s ack Abuhaidar was third.
.

In the second slalom, Jeremy Mathers picked up another first place finish, Rowmark’s Ford Hodgkins was second and Oscar Brown of Snowbird was third.

Winners in the first giant slalom Tay Poster of Park City first, Stefan Brennwald of Park City second and Campbell Prichard of Rowmark third.

In the men’s second GS Campbell Prichard of Rowmark was first, Stefan Breenwald of Park City was second and Preson Bolus of Rowmark and Daniel Macuga of Park City tied for third.

The results from the first men’s Super-G at the 78th Annual SnowCup at Snowbird are in. Race 2 was canceled due to fog.

The 2022 Bryce Astle IMC Series will end this weekend with the finale being at Snowbird. It has been a great series and we’ve had two athletes dominate the Series!! The current overall standings are as follows:

Women
1. Reagan Harrison-JHSC
2. Natalie Gowe- SVSEF
3. Lowie Watkins- SVSEF

Men
1. Karsten Schillinger-RM
2. Max Meucci- SVSEF
3. Austin Aten- PCSS

Typically, the IMC awards would be awarded at the conclusion of these races. Due to a conflict with U16 Nationals in Sugarloaf, Maine, a lot of the award recipients will not be at the finale of the Bryce Astle IMC series. Instead the awards will be given out at the IMD Spring meetings in May. Hopefully next year, we will once again ring the cowbell in Bryce’s honor.

The men and women’s giant slaloms at the Park City David Wright Memorial were canceled today (3/6/2022) because of poor snow conditions.

The first round of giant slaloms Saturday were also hindered by poor snow conditions resulting with the Women’s race being terminated and the men’s race being canceled.
