Volunteers sought for Sean Nurse event

Volunteers are need for the Sean Nurse Memorial at Snow King in Jackson Dec. 20-23.

If you are going to attend the event and would like to help out, go to  https://jhskiclub.org/support/volunteer-jobs to sign up. Volunteers can register there for positions they would like to fill.
The Ski Club is still working on incentives for volunteers which will have it figured out by the race week.

 

Boise AO update, RA clinic Dec. 2

The Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation will hold an Alpine officials update Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.

A Race Administration clinic will follow at noon.

Both will be held at the BBSEF offices at 1675 Hill Rd Suite A. Cost to attend is $10.

If you are new to  Alpine officiating (have no classification in any AO category) and plan on attending the RA training, make sure you complete the required online Competition Official course and test. You will find it in Alpine 101 on this website. You must also join  U.S. Ski & Snowboard as an Alpine Officials and complete the Safe Sport course.
